A scout troop was a formation of the Imperial Army.
Organization
A troop was comprised of four scout platoons, along with command and support elements. The troop numbers one hundred and sixteen soldiers and forty speeder bikes. The command element traveled in a command speeder, and the support element was also mobile.[1]
A scout troop could be augmented by the addition of four more scout platoons.[2]
