The Human male trader Saun Dann once claimed to have a nephew while trying to break up a potential fight between an Imperial technician and the Wookiee Mallatobuck. According to Dann, the nephew was his brother's son, born about twenty-four or twenty-five years before 1 ABY, at which point he was in the Imperial Military.

Behind the scenes

The Star Wars Holiday Special is not clear as to whether Saun Dann is telling the truth about having a brother and a nephew, or simply making it up in an effort to distract the technician. Worth noting is that he tells several other tall tales to the Imperials while trying to distract them.
