A bowl of salthia beans

Salthia beans were used to make a nutritious paste for the New Republic Navy.

The well known bean could be foraged on Corellia and added to other foods to enhance their nutritional value.

The beans were often fed to Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo's children when they were infants on Coruscant, occasionally being used in their food fights.
