Sakin

Sakin was a group of four cargo ferries used by Rogue Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin during his insurrection against the Empire. The cargo ferries were present at Zaarin's Research platform, where he developed the TIE Defender starfighter, when Loyalist forces sent a strike team to retake the platform. One of the cargo ferries escaped into hyperspace but the rest were destroyed in the battle.

Behind the scenes

The cargo ferries appear in Star Wars: TIE Fighter mission, "Capture Platform", the first mission of the game's ninth tour of campaign. This article assumes that one cargo ferry, Sakin 1, escaped into hyperspace. However, it is possible to destroy all cargo ferries before they escape.
