Rick Hoberg

Rick Hoberg is a comic-book artist from Belton, Texas. He inked a few Marvel Star Wars issues and also did some covers for the title.

He started in the comics industry in the mid 1970s assisting Russ Manning on the early Star Wars and Tarzan newspaper strips. In the 1980s he worked on several DC Comics including The Brave and the Bold and Batman.

He has also done production sketches and merchandise work for Lucasfilm, including drawings for a number of versions of The Empire Strikes Back Coloring Book. Hoberg has also worked in animation for such companies as Hanna-Barbera and DiC Entertainment.
