Repulsor boots

Repulsor boots, also called Grav boots and Gravity boots, were a type of footwear characterized by miniature repulsorlift units inset into the sole of each boot.

Used to maneuver through the air, repulsor boots varied in power and ability, with some models only allowing for hovering off the ground, while others allowed for limited flight hundreds of meters in the air.

Repulsor boots were known for being difficult to use, with balance being a considerable issue; an inexperienced user could easily slide and pinwheel out of control, and required careful manipulation and positioning of one's feet.
