This article is non-canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

This article covers a Star Wars Legends subject that was published under the Infinities label or that Lucasfilm otherwise declared non-canon within the Legends continuity.

Regalia Sub-space station-12 was a space station[1] located in the Regalia system,[3] a star system within the Meram sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[2] Scientist mOKDAR 15 was a director at this station and kept copious amounts of video journals on the experiments he conducted while at the station. He planned to broadcast them through subspace transceivers when he had the financial means to do so.[1]

Behind the scenes

Regalia Sub-space station-12 was first mentioned in a segment named "The Seminar Participants," written by Bob Carrau for the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a publication that combines creature designs and photographs from various projects of George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars franchise, with original text by Carrau.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical.[4]

Sixteen years later, Regalia was shown to be a star system and was included in The Essential Atlas, a third-generation Essential Guide written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, and published in August 2009.[5] The book placed the system in the Outer Rim Territories, within the Meram Sector at the grid coordinates O-4.[6] Fry has stated that "planets not assigned a system in [a] published source can be assumed to reside in [the] system of [the] same name."[7] This article assumes the same applies for space stations.
