During their resistance to the Imperial presence on their homeworld of Aridus, a Human claiming to be Obi-Wan Kenobi—but actually an impersonator working for Darth Vader—attacked and destroyed an Imperial outpost. The assault was orchestrated by Vader to lend credibility to the actor's claims to be Kenobi, a trap intended to draw in Kenobi's former apprentice, Luke Skywalker.^[1]
