R-Series Voice Box Adaptor

The R-Series Voice Box Adaptor was a peripheral system manufactured by Industrial Automaton. Compatible with any of Industrial Automaton's astromech droids in the R1 to R5 range, the adaptor reprogrammed the droid's language. Supported languages included Basic, Bocce, Rodese, and Shyriiwook. R3-K8, an R3-series droid assigned to the FarStar, was equipped with a Voice Box Adaptor that was programmed for Basic to allow it to communicate with the hangar control room supervisor.
