Quasar

A quasar was an astronomical object. Quasars emitted light that was described by the Human female Jedi Knight Jaina Solo as burning. Her brother Jacen Solo compared the Fosh Vergere's voice to being cold and precise like the light received from a distant quasar.

Behind the scenes

Quasars were introduced with a mention in the 2001 novel The New Jedi Order: Edge of Victory II: Rebirth, written by Greg Keyes, and made their first in-universe appearance in Boba Fett: Crossfire, a 2002 young readers novel authored by Terry Bisson.
