A perimeter sensor was a type of sensor designed to trigger an alert if something or someone breached a designated border. Deke Holman set a perimeter sensor for the Prodigal when he rescued Fable Astin from Trulalis. The sensors alerted them and Jaalib Brandl to the approach of Lord Adalric Cessius Brandl.
