Parmel sector
The Parmel sector was a sector located within the Outer Rim region of the galaxy, near the Sarin sector. Some planets contained in the sector included Vohai, Aris V, Kallistas and Turcan III.
The sector was the location of the Parmel Sector Stock Exchange.
History
The Parmel sector was governed at different times by Moffs Raiss and Tallis. Churhee's Riflemen, a mercenary company formerly allied to the Galactic Empire and later to the Rebel Alliance, was active in this sector.
Before 1 BBY, the Sullustan gambler Cunbus Locb visited several planets in this area, earned an amount of money and left onboard his ship, Distant Wind, to the chagrin of several fleeced locals.[4]
Following the Battle of Endor, the Parmel sector was among the first sectors to throw off the Empire.[3]
