During the Galactic Civil War, Emperor Palpatine employed a gardener to maintain the extensive botanical gardens on his personal skyhook. During a visit to the skyhook in 3.5 ABY, Dark Prince Xizor was so impressed by the botanical display that he hired the man away from the Emperor to work on the gardens of his own skyhook Falleen's Fist. Never a good loser in even the most trivial of cases, Palpatine in response had the man killed in a turbolift "accident", even though he had been his best horticulturist.
