An ovipositor was an anatomical structure used by certain species to facilitate in the laying of eggs. The Olabrian trichoids possessed ovipositors, as did the Geonosian Queen Karina the Great. Her ovipositor was an immense sac-like organ that could produce an egg roughly every eight seconds.
