Ord Dorlass

Ord Dorlass was a planet in the Ord Dorlass system, a star system in the Iskin sector of the Mid Rim.

History

Established an Ordnance/Regional Depot during the Pius Dea Era, the planet was used as a staging point for Galactic Republic and Pius Dea forces during the Twelfth Pius Dea Crusade in their attack of the Teirasa system in 11,660 BBY.

Eight thousand years later, during the Cold War between the Republic and the Sith Empire, the planet and its population were wracked by a disease that induced fevers and hallucinations, and it was placed under quarantine.

Several thousand years later, Dorlass was one of the stops on the Dahvil-Fodro Hyperspace Promenade, a Star Rally hyperspace race that included the planets Dahvil, Ord Dorlass, Fait d'Fait, Azna, and Fodro. During the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the Rebel agent and racer Siro Simito staged a fistfight with his competitor, a Rodian named Seeg, and the stunt succeeded in raising their popularity in the race.
