The Imperial Navy employed various Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transports under the callsign Omega during the Galactic Civil War. Assault Transports Omega typically performed capture and assault operations on enemy space stations, such as the assault on XQ2 Platform Pondut during the "Arms Race". Occasionally, Imperial forces utilized Assault Transports Omega as utility craft such as warhead reloading for Imperial starfighters.
