Nyasko
Nyasko was a terrestrial[3] planet[4] located in the Nyasko system. It constituted a part of the Colunda sector, a subsector of the Phelleem sector[1] in the Slice portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] During the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, a battalion[3] of Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport walkers was stationed on Nyasko.[4]
At some point, the high marks earned by the individual Deppo at an engineering school led to him being assigned to the Nyasko battalion.[3] The unit's frequent suppression of Rebel-related uprisings[5] resulted in a lot of work for Deppo in repairing wrecks of vehicles that had either been sabotaged or damaged in battle.[3]
Behind the scenes
Nyasko was first mentioned in the 1993 Dark Empire Sourcebook, which was authored by Michael Allen Horne and published by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Nyasko system, and therefore the planet itself, in grid square S-7.[2]
