Norval II was a planet in the Calaron sector abounding with organic life.[3]
History
It was the planet to which Darth Sidious sent the Mandalorian Protectors on a mission to capture Senator Padmé Amidala during the Clone Wars.[4]
Sidious betrayed the Mandalorians, who were ambushed by the Jedi[4] and the Ailon Nova Guard.[5] Only three Mandalorians survived: Tobbi Dala, Fenn Shysa, and Spar.[4] This betrayal also resulted in the destruction of the vast majority of BL-series Battle Legionnaire droids.[6]
During the war against the reborn Emperor in 10 ABY, Norval II provided starfighters for the armed force stationed at Pinnacle Base.[7]
