Nilgaard Bioprocessing was a mining company in the Nilgaard sector that established a large plant on the planet Reaper's World c. 3000 BBY. Over the years, the world was slowly drained of resources and left barren. With the world stripped of value, Nilgaard Bioprocessing moved their business into the Corporate Sector.
