Neary was a celestial body[3] located in the Neary system, a part of the Calaron sector[1] in the Slice portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] Around 2 ABY,[4] the Rebel Alliance Task Force on Alliance Security compiled a SecuriDex datafile on the former scout Yurdak Fav, and the file named Neary as Fav's last known location.[3]

Behind the scenes

Neary was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Neary system, and therefore Neary itself, in grid square T-9.[1]
