Namco Limited (株式会社ナムコ Kabushiki-gaisha Namuko) was the developer and publisher of Star Wars (1987) for the Family Computer. The game was only released in Japan.[1] Notable Namco-published franchises include Pac-Man, Tekken, Tales, Soulcalibur, Xenosaga, Ridge Racer, and Dark Souls. Namco currently exists solely as a brand name under Bandai Namco Entertainment. Galen Marek made his first appearance in Namco's Soulcalibur IV where he was a guest character alongside Darth Vader and Yoda.
