Najoon

Najoons were a species of nocturnal avians that were native to the Forest Moon of Endor. They varied in size from a quarter to half a meter long, with wingspans ranging from forty-five to seventy centimeters. They possessed dark black hides that effectively hid them from both predators and prey.

A flock of najoons caused the Rebel Alliance starship Star-Beast to make a dangerous forced landing on the Forest Moon.
