A monocle ocular enhancer was a device worn like an eye patch over an eye to afford the user increased visual acuity[1] and better low-light vision. The Wookiee bounty hunter Snoova wore such equipment;[2] after he lost an eye while pursuing a bounty, he had a cybernetic implant installed in his right eye socket and attached the ocular enhancer to it, making it a permanent part of his gear.[1]
