Modaran

The Modaran was an assault shuttle that was in service with the New Republic Defense Fleet. It participated in the First Battle of Borleias. During the battle, it and its commander, General Laryn Kre'fey, was destroyed when a barrage of ion cannon fire disabled the transport, causing the ship to plummet into the planet's renewed energy shield. The Modaran was the first ship to be destroyed by Evir Derricote's defenses during the battle.

Behind the scenes

In the Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia the name of the shuttle is listed as Mondaran but the spelling is correct in Laryn Kre'fey's entry.
