The MobileMortar-3 was an artillery platform which combined the MM-s3 grenade launcher and WW-676 repulsorlift sled to create a mobile fire-support weapon. MobileMortar-3s were used by both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic, as well as the later New Republic and planetary defense forces.[1]
These platforms were typically issued as support weapons for army platoons, or operated as four-vehicle light mechanized infantry units.[2]
