Meydhu
Meydhu was a pirate and commentator on Gundark's Gear Datalog during the early years of the New Republic. During a boarding action while Meydhu served under a pirate captain, the lead boarder was caught in an explosion and the crew lost their Deck Sweeper Stunning Blaster. Meydhu wanted to retrieve it but the captain pulled the pirate out.[1]
While commenting on the entry for pulse-wave blasters, Meydhu revealed that there was good money to be made by selling these kinds of archaic weapons to nuclear-level warmongering backwater planets. Meydhu was once confronted by a Tapani noble armed with a micro blaster; the noble was stunned by Meydhu's crew and placed in the brig until his family paid a high ransom.[1]
Meydhu disliked disruptor weapons, as the idea of causing a target's molecules to disintegrate felt creepy. Meydhu believed that those who used them were psychopaths who gave pirates a bad name.[1]
