Medal of Victory
The Medal of Victory was a medal awarded to Imperial starfighter pilots for successfully completing thirteen tours of duty. It was believed to be the highest "tours of duty" award capable of being earned by a starfighter pilot.
History
Maarek Stele was awarded this medal during his career as a TIE pilot, shortly before the destruction of the Second Death Star at Endor.
He earned the medal for his role in the destruction of Admiral Demetrius Zaarin, who tried to flee his flagship aboard the Corvette Vorknkx, unaware of the cloaking device's catastrophic instability when used in hyperspace.
Design
The ribbon had red and blue stripes, with a red cloth at the back. The medal itself was primarily gold, with a silver patch at the center. The patch had an engraving of a red dragon-like creature.
