Matacorn
Matacorn was a terrestrial world[3] located in the Matacorn system, a part of the Mid Rim's Lambda sector.[1] A nondescript trade world, it was the homeworld of the Human Hurst Romodi.[3] Matacorn also shared its name with the Matacorn campaign, a conflict fought during the Galactic Civil War.[4]
Behind the scenes
Matacorn was introduced via mention of the Matacorn campaign in "Irrefutable Logic", a short companion narrative included in Heroes & Rogues, a 1995 sourcebook written by Paul Sudlow and Rick Stuart for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Matacorn system in grid square P-15,[2] and in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, authored by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart, Matacorn was finally established as a distinct world.[3]
