"Masslines" was a song by the band Red Shift Limit. The song appeared on the band's compilation album Limited Warfare, a record that was in circulation in the galaxy by the time[1] between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[2] Red Shift Limit was a notorious anti-Imperial band, which resulted in "Masslines" being banned by the Imperial Board of Culture.[1]

The song "Masslines" was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, the 1993 supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric Trautmann.[1]
