Captain Maraba Tev was a male Human pilot and spy for the Rebel Alliance. In 3 ABY, Tev accepted a high-risk intelligence-gathering mission in the Patriim system, and uncovered information that the Galactic Empire was developing a new superweapon known as the Tarkin. Tev was killed while rushing this information back to the Rebel Fleet, but moments before his passing set his X-wing starfighter on a course that allowed his body to be retrieved by his cohorts, still clutching the message canister he died to deliver.
