Mairne
Mairne,[2] situated within the system of the same name,[3] was a planet in the Kathol sector[2] of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] Connected to the neighboring planets of Charis and Gandle Ott by hyperlanes, Mairne was located just off the Trition Trade Route that ran through the sector.[2] By 8 ABY,[4] the world supported a small colony whose economy was based around supplying ore and natural resources to Gandle Ott.[2]
Behind the scenes
Mairne was featured in The DarkStryder Campaign, a 1995 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. Mairne was not featured directly in any adventure, but was included to give background information on worlds within the Kathol sector.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Mairne system, and therefore the planet Mairne, in grid square M-21.[5]
