The M2398 system was a star system which was also known as the Blood Nest system, due to the pirate gang known to inhabit the region. Located in the Halori sector of the Mid Rim region of the galaxy,[1] it contained the uninhabited gas giant, M2398, surrounded by an asteroid belt and at least one moon.
History
A band of pirates used the moon, known as the Blood Nest, and asteroid belt as a headquarters. Wraith Squadron went to the planet to carry out the missions of the Night Caller, a CR90 corvette which was captured by the squadron from Warlord Zsinj.
The first Wraith to die, Jesmin Ackbar, was killed in a dogfight over the moon.
