"Love in the Ruins" was a song that was composed and performed by the band Red Shift Limit. The track was featured on the album called Totally Patriotic, which was the band's latest release at the time[1] between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[2] Red Shift Limit's music was usually banned by the Imperial Board of Culture because it contained an anti-Imperial message. However, "Love in the Ruins" was allowed to enter circulation in the galaxy with a "scarlet" rating, indicating worthless or offensive content.[1]
Behind the scenes
"Love in the Ruins" was mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric Trautmann and published in 1993.[1]
