Lott Kemp
Lott Kemp was a male crystal merchant[2] from the planet Dodz.[1] Through the Intergalactic Droid Agency, Kemp acquired C-3PO and R2-D2 as servant droids. However, before they arrived, Kemp came under pressure to pay heavy taxes to the corrupt Governor Kugg. He refused to pay the wanted amount, so Kugg sent his killer droid, the Destroyer, to "deal with" Kemp at the crystal merchant's residence. Although he escaped with his life[2] and fled off-world to avoid the deadly droid,[3] the Destroyer decimated Kemp's dwelling.[2]
When R2 and 3PO arrived at Kemp's residence, they found it destroyed and feared their master to be dead. However, Jost Ellon was looting the rubble and, after informing them of Kemp's survival, became the droids' new master.[2]
