The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is a British symphony orchestra based in London, England and founded on June 9, 1904. Containing approximately 100 members, the London Symphony Orchestra produces film soundtracks, classical music, and pop music. They performed a majority of the score for the Star Wars films. John Williams, the composer, acted as guest conductor for the orchestra during the recordings.[source?]
