Living Monorail

The Living Monorail was a mass transit system on the planet Ergeshui that linked the city of Erglush to Outworlder City. It was a living organism, consisting of two huge vines fixed in place by root systems. A bean-shaped growth acted as a car, and slid along the vine propelled by methane gas and photosynthetic charge. Each car could hold forty Ergesh, or eighty Humans.
