Lin (YT-1300)
Lin was a modified Corellian YT-1300 transport that was used by criminals that were hiding from the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. The transport was the first of three transports to try to leave a XQ3 platform that served as a salvage yard but was also responsible for being a hiding point for fugitives, including a Rebel spy.
The Lin was only able to get a relatively safe distance from the platform but was disabled by a TIE Defender that carried with it a tractor beam. The transport was boarded by an assault transport and captured bringing the criminals back into custody the rest of the transports followed suit and the platform was seized. The events surrounding the Platform's capture were recorded and recreated for the Combat chamber for training.
Behind the scenes
The transport is labeled "Lindilu" in the list of objectives in Strategy Guide, however the ship is also called "Lin" in the book and is addressed as "Lin" in the game.
