The lava worm was a hardy, serpentine creature native to the lava pools of Nkllon.

Another kind of lava worm was said to inhabit the molten moon Rennokk. A Tarasin named Kum'Jushkin reported his expedition being attacked by one. It might have no relation to the Nkllon worm beyond the name.
