A language convertor lexicon was an item of technology used before the times of the Galactic Republic.
Around the year 25,098 BBY, Dojundo the Hutt made contact with the primitive Vodran species on the planet Vodran. The Hutts used language convertor lexicons to communicate with the Vodrans.
