The Kuat Drive Yards weapons platform was a class of military space station produced for the Imperial Navy at the Kuat Drive Yards.[1]

History

It required sophisticated shipyards for its production, beyond the capabilities of facilities like those near Coruscant which could produce Imperial I-class Star Destroyers.[1]
