Kshyy vines were plants which grew on the wroshyr trees of Kashyyyk. The Wookiees hung sacrifices from one such vine to feed a terentatek. These vines were self-repairing vines, which could not be damaged even by blasters.
Liftcars on Kashyyyk were held in place and moved vertically by kshyy vines. Various fungi and parasites, if unchecked, could damage or break the vines, but the cars employed repulsorlifts as a backup.
