Keresia was an astronomical object[3] located within the Keresia system, a part of the Demetras sector within the Outer Rim Territories[1] and Trans-Hydian regions of the galaxy.[2]
When the Galactic Empire used the sliideptra, a species of annelidians native to Tel IV[3] in the Halthor sector,[4] to research chemical weapons, their experiments led to the creation of a paralytic grain mold that decimated Keresia. The latter celestial body's fate was mentioned in a holobrochure for the Tagge Holographic Museum of Chandrila.[3]
Behind the scenes
Keresia was first mentioned in Creatures of the Galaxy, a 1994 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game sourcebook published by West End Games.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Keresia system, and therefore the celestial body Keresia, within grid square P-7.[2]
