Xendor was an exiled Kashi Mer.

The Kashi Mer, also known as the Kashi, was a civilization that inhabited the Kashi system.

Behind the scenes

The Kashi Mer were first mentioned in the roleplaying adventure "Relic," which was authored by George R. Strayton for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and published in the May 1995 sixth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal magazine. Strayton's 1996 roleplaying sourcebook Tales of the Jedi Companion later introduced the alternate name "Kashi" for the culture. The Kashi Mer were first illustrated by Conceptopolis for the 2010 book The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force.
