Jid'yda

Jid'yda was a male Bothan who served the New Republic as an admiral during the Galactic Civil War.

Presumably an experienced fleet commander, he was mentioned as a possible candidate to command the combined task force during the Black Fleet Crisis, recommended by Senator Borsk Fey'lya. However, the assignment fell to Han Solo after the admiral's candidacy was rejected by the rest of the Senate Council.
