The Jawa Data Crystal Information Area was a secret Jawa stronghold located on the planet of Tatooine, in which droid parts and Optical Information Crystals were stored. The latter were extremely valuable, since they were used by both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. In the later stages of the Galactic Civil War, a Jawa named Keemee had been tasked by Wimateeka, leader of the Nkik clan, to maintain the facility and protect the valuable data crystals.[1]
