Java

The Java was a Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transport that was used by the Empire.

History

The Java was one of 3 Assault transports that was sent to retake Deep Space Manufacturing Facility ZA-13. The factory was originally used to manufacture Hyperdrive engines for TIE Advanced fighters, that could also be mounted onto TIE Defenders. After driving of Zaarin's forces, the Java, which carried a boarding crew, was the first to dock with the facility and capture the factory then jump into Hyperspace. The other assault transports Themor, Shuttle Sigma and Escort shuttles Omega would then do the same.
