- "Congratulations. You've drawn janitorial duty. Big Gyyl, consider yourself a trustee."
- ―Moruth Doole, to Gyylghrard
A janitor, also referred to as a custodian, or more formally as a Custodial Officer, was a person who took care of a building, such as an educational facility, an office building, or a residential apartment block; or a military starship. Janitors were responsible primarily for cleaning, but were often called upon to perform some maintenance and security duties.[source?] Sometimes the duties of a janitor were performed by droids.[2]
