Jana Jarel was a female bounty hunter who fought against the smuggler Roark Garnet during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
Jana Jarel was a female bounty hunter active during the Galactic Civil War. She crossed paths with the smuggler, Roark Garnet, engaging in a blaster fight. Jarel managed to wound Garnet in the fight, but he evaded another shot from her.[1]
Personality and traits
Jarel was trained to use a blaster, and was good enough with with the weapon to outgun Garnet in a firefight, although her second shot was dodged by the smuggler.[1]
Behind the scenes
Jana Jarel appeared in an example scenario in the first edition rulebook of West End Games's roleplaying game in 1987. The segments she appears in instruct the players and gamemaster how to conduct combat, including which player has the initiative, which rolls take precedence, how to assign difficulty numbers to the shots being taken, and how to dodge incoming fire.[1]
