Jahn Tanner was a moisture farmer on the planet Tatooine. He was married to Lania and the pair had a son, Shan. They lived on the Tanner Ranch in the Western Dune Sea. Tanner was a solidly built man with a neatly trimmed beard and piercing eyes. He wore a tan tunic and leggings favored by moisture farmers on Tatooine. Tanner, his family, and their farmhands were forced to relocate to Wayfar in the face of a marauding force of Tusken Raiders.
