The inter-office communications device was a technological device that made a loud buzzing sound when pressed.[1] In 5 ABY,[2] the Jedi Luke Skywalker met with the protocol droid C-3PO at the Droid Repair Shop on the moon Yavin 4 to prepare the droid for an undercover mission. Skywalker used his inter-office communications device to signal the Droid Modification Team that C-3PO was ready to be disguised.[1]
Behind the scenes
The inter-office communications device appeared in the first installment of the Jedi Prince junior novel series, The Glove of Darth Vader, written by Paul and Hollace Davids and published in 1992.[1]
